Stimulus Package To First Pay for Routine Repairs
Obama's new stimulus plan is not as hitoric as people are making it out to be, most of the things on the agenda are minor things that have been on a "to-do" list for many years.

Finally, the job is getting done. It's a critical move because now it will be publically known. Depending on how well they get done, and if they get done, it could start Obama's first day as president with cheerful admiration.
Even though none of these projects are new, at least they are finally being financed. I think it is important for Obama to begin his term in the white house with something major that way people will realize that it is a new administration and possibly gain confidence. If the public believes help is on the way the economy will begin to rise as a result.
