"The high-flying execs at Citigroup caved under pressure from President Obama and decided today to abandon plans for a luxurious new $50 million corporate jet from France..."

I heard about this yesterday from my dad and I thought they already had bought the plane. I'm glad they won't. They have a lot of guts trying to pull that move, especially during this recession. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama has more trouble with these big banks in the future.

It's a good thing Obama's administration caught that... there needs to be some serious evaluating of these bank's spending. Here's just another example of how Obama is already helping the everyday public.

It's quite a relief to hear that the Obama administration is fulfilling its promise by looking out for these kinds of things. It's almost funny that even in a time of recession, executives still don't care and try to get away with things out of just plain greed. Hopefully we'll keep hearing more about unnecessary spending being caught.
