The youngest speechwriter on record in the White House, Jon Favreau is the co-author of the President's inaugural address.
Welcome to Mr. Franz's blog. The blog will be used by Mr. Franz's 3rd and 5th period AP Government classes (located somewhere east of the Mississippi River), as well as for the political musings of Mr. Franz.

That's incredible how he could have such an important position at such a young age. I mean he has only been out of college for a few years and he is alrady going to write what wll probably be one of the most historical inagural addresses so far. He is clearly good at what he does because Obama is known for having a way with words.
Things like this just come naturally to some people. Age and experience does not always have to be the only factors in a good speechwriter. Good for Favreau. He's got a good career ahead of him and the inaugural address was great. Again, Obama opening eyes to greener things
I agree that his talent at such a young age is fabulous, however, I heard on the news that after receiving a copy of the innaugural speech, Obama completely re-wrote the words of it, sticking to the common threads, but rephrasing it as he desired
